Jim Vernon has been with Architectural Partners since 1985. During his tenure with the firm, Jim has been responsible for design development and project management for a wide range of projects. He has had extensive experience providing architectural design, feasibility study, and master planning services for justice facilities and municipalities. Jim’s background and training in Historic Preservation in Virginia makes him particularly well suited for renovation or rehabilitation projects involving sensitive historic structures. As an architect, he values the Commonwealth’s architectural heritage, and enjoys generating creative solutions for housing new functions in older buildings without compromising the original design.
