Jake joined Architectural Partners as an intern in 2022 and as a full-time employee in 2025. He works alongside our architects on many different kinds of projects and assists them with CADD and Revit work among many other things. Jake graduated with his Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech in the spring of 2025.

  • What is an interesting fact about you? I have been to more than half of the states and still counting
  • What Non-Profit do you support? I support the USO - organization focusing on providing essential services for current U.S. military members and veterans
  • If you could create an undiscovered Crayola crayon color, what would it be? a blue that eliminates the boundary of an ocean's water surface and a cool blue skyline
  • What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? spending time outdoors in the garden, landscaping, hiking, taking trips with no specific destination, and architectural drawing (building, landscapes, visual parti sketches, etc.)
  • What is your favorite season? all of them except winter
  • What is your favorite food? huevos rancheros or pineapple shrimp fried rice

  • If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Athens, Greece or Barcelona, Spain (too difficult to choose)
  • If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be? craftmanship with wooden materials/furniture design
